Breakfast at "Asian Legend" restaurant.
XLB
Nian/ Gao (rice cake) soup.
Bowl o' hot soy milk.
Scallion pancakes.
Yo/ tiao/ ("chinese donut") and ro\ song ("pork floss") wrapped in rice.
CN Tower
Hockey Hall of Fame
Taking a break from walking around the downtown waterfront.
We then headed over to the St. Lawrence Market, which was pretty nice to walk around.
Lots of of little booths.
Meat.
Some delicious-looking bacon.
Sea meats.
Dad inspecting the cheese selection.
Dry aged sides of beef.
I gots me some perogies. Yum!
Dinner that night at Sam Woo's BBQ.
Cha Shao Ro\ (a.k.a. "char siu").
Then of course, it was off to Pacific Mall for one last round of Tian/ Tang.
But before we got there, we saw the most obscene cuttlefish hanging in the window of one of the shops (the sausage hanging next to it did not help the imagery).
Then we saw these kids rehearsing some sort of dance.
I felt kind of bad for them, but that didn't stop me from laughing and recording more:

Canada, Day 4
Went to the same sushi buffet place that we seem to go to every year.
Assorted rolls.
Weird dish. Some sort of fried disc of rice with salmon and tobiko on top. Not recommended.
We bought some plants to plant around my grandfather's grave to pretty it up.
Before.
Digging.
Ariel provided sun blocking functionality.
Final result.
Everyone.
Break for tian/ tang and assorted snacks. Some sort of scallion pancake, but kinda glutinous.
Cold lychee drink.
Watermelon juice and sago with assorted fruits.
Sago close up.
Went to dinner at Aunt Julie's house that night.

Canada, Day 3
Brunch/lunch at Pacific Mall
Sue and I get a variety of BBQ pork and soy-sauce chicken type of objects. Yum.
Everyone else with other assorted Chinese foods.
Super-large pearl milk tea.
Dinner at a Shanghainese restaurant. We'd been here before, but somehow I never noticed this horribly gaudy reproduction of the "Pearl Tower" from Pudong.
Drunken chicken!
Rice cake (nian/ gao) with clams.
Off to the Chinese dessert shop...
Grass jelly with "sea coconut".
Some weird sort of rice cake dessert, constructed in a somewhat taco-like topology.
