Squeaky Soup!

We decided to make a vegetable soup with a bunch of more or less random veggies. We used eggplant, which ended up being fairly squeaky in texture.

Is this Necessary?

I saw this in at a McD's in an airport:

Is this really necessary? Were Filet-o-Fish sandwich sales really down because customers were thinking "Man, I'd really like that fish sandwich if it only had more fish in it," or is the lack of popularity of this sandwich due to the fact that well, it's a McD's filet o' fish? Just doesn't seem very appetizing to me.
